Our darkest hours are often the moment that, looking back, shines the biggest light.

Have you ever noticed often, life only makes sense in the rearview mirror? Only when we have gone through it do we see the lesson we have been gifted.

My darkest moments revealed that no matter what life threw at me and how low I was, there was always someone who could help me; sometimes, it was myself, and other times, I had the courage to ask for help from my amazing friends and colleagues.

It reminds me that we have each survived 100% of the twists life has thrown us, which is one heck of a batting average and should give us the courage to keep moving forward.

My lessons have taught me that I live best when I live with GRACE.

Gratitude - for all I have rather than concern for that I don't have.
Respect - for everyone, it's okay to disagree, but never disrespect.
Accountability - for my thoughts, words and deeds.
Courage - the courage to be curious, creative and kind.
Empathy - for others and for myself - no one knows the load another is carrying.
