Selection of weapon's and armor in Assassin's Creed Odyssey is important to get the highest, assassin damage, hunter damage, or worrior damage depending on what type of build you are using, also engravings are important to enhance your build.

The best engraving are:
10% CRIT chance and 50% CRIT damage. 20% CRIT chance while full health and 100% CRIT damage while full health. Warrior damage, Assassin damage and Hunter damage. 30% Damage with all type of weapons, Swords, Daggers, Spears, Staffs, Heavy Blunt weapons, Heavy Bladed weapons. 20% Damage with Swords and Daggers and 20% Damage with heavy weapons.
Also there are some useful engraving:
10% All damage, 40% Fire damage and 50% Headshot damage.

Using legendary engravings with weapon's and armor in Assassin's Creed Odyssey can significantly enhance your gameplay experience.
Among all legendary engravings available; here's my list:
100% All damage type but -100% All Resistances
100% Headshot damage but +50% Adrenaline consumption
50% Crit Damage with Hunter, Assassin, or Warrior Abilities
5% Crit Chance and 25% Crit Damage while Full health
Conveart 50% Assassin, Hunter, or Warrior Damage bonuses to All Damage
30% Armor Penetration
200% Headshot damage but -100% Warrior and Assassin damage
100% Damage but Health Capped to 25%
250% All Damage but cannot use Abilities
Rush Assassinate Ability chains to 1 more enemy
Assassin Damage applies to Nearby Enemies
Weapon Damage become Fire, or Poison Damage
Basic Arrows become Fire, or Poison Arrows
