How international bank wires to Mexico normally work (what’s required)

Mexican bank accounts use an 18-digit CLABE as the account identifier for both domestic and many international incoming transfers — you must give this for a direct bank deposit. US/foreign banks usually also ask for the recipient bank’s SWIFT/BIC, the bank name/address, and the beneficiary full name. Local alternative: Open account at another Mexican bank or ask landlord to open a USD account

If your Mexican bank is blocked or unreliable, ask landlord whether they can accept transfers to another Mexican bank (Banorte, BBVA, Santander, etc.) or open a USD account that can accept international deposits. This may require a one-time coordination.
