Something I've been working on last week. An encoding of natural number variables and basic operations like increment, decrement and addition, using sticky pistons from Create mod. Lamps are powered by redstone with feedbacks using vanilla redstone repeaters. The basic idea for variables is to use the length of piston as a representation of natural number and blocks glued to piston as a trigger for value invalidation. As for addition, the idea is similar but in place of blocks glued to a piston from previous step there is another piston set up to extend in the same direction. This way the extension/shrinkage of both pistons affect the y coordinate of the tip of second piston, thus resulting in operation equivalent to addition in context of piston lengths representing natural numbers.
