An officer of Shu. Participated in Jiang Wei's Northern Campaign. He provided a diversion until the main force under Jiang Wei took Nan'an. He encamped his troops near the entrance to the valley of Mt. Qi. However, this plan did not fool Deng Ai. He was attacked by Chen Tai and died in battle.
