When I started this project, I really had no idea what I was getting myself into and got lost in an expansive research rabbit hole. When I came out the other side, this video could easily have been over an hour long. So I cut it down again and again until I was left with this. I'm not going to lie, I'm not 100% happy with it, but I think it's a solid first try.
If anything, making this has made me more determined to do something about the inequality and sexism that still persist in (kids) media.
