I took a couple of days to visit Indiana Dunes National Park! I had been wanting to visit for a long time because the park is so close to Cleveland, but every time I browsed the recreation.gov site to look for a campsite it was fully booked. Planning ahead finally made this trip possible, and I had an amazing time!

It was my first time visiting this area and also my first time camping at a rented, drive-in camp site. I hiked through a LOT of sand, saw an incredible sunset (and was gifted a geode!?), stayed warm with a campfire, slept in my car (for the first time!), and completed the three dune challenge in Indiana Dunes State Park.
