HUAWEI P60 Pro: No contest, best camera phone in the Philippines 2023! (Taglish)

HUAWEI's P Series is back and one of them is now official in the Philippines—the HUAWEI P60 Pro.

On paper, it is the device that aims to continue HUAWEI's dominance in the mobile photography space by introducing new innovative imaging solutions on a slim smartphone.

The device retails for PHP 58,999 for the 8GB/256GB version while the beefier 12GB/256GB variant is priced at PHP 69,999.

On paper, it is equipped with one of the strongest camera specs you will find on a smartphone not named P60 Art.

In particular, the device features a HUAWEI XMAGE camera system boasting the 48MP Ultra-Lighting Camera with Phase Focus, Contrast Focus, and OIS. This is one of the biggest sensors on a phone at 1/1.43-inch and it even has an f/1.4 to f/4.0 variable aperture with a total of 10 stops. Its f/1.4 aperture is one of the brightest and largest openings on a smartphone lens today. Super macro mode is also available in this main shooter.

HUAWEI also added a 13MP f/2.2 25mm Ultra-Wide Angle Camera and a 48MP f/2.1 Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera with 3.5x optical zoom with 125mm equivalent.

The telephoto camera that HUAWEI uses here is a special one as it has the brightest f/2.1 aperture. It also has OIS and can help the phone achieve up to 100x digital zoom. For selfies, it uses a 13MP f/2.4 Wide Angle sensor.

Both the back and front camera configurations can record up to 4K at 60fps. The ultra-wide cam has a limitation at 4K 30fps.
