There are so many things to see at Big Bend National Park, it would take more than two entire weeks to do everything. Most people will spend only a few days in Big Bend, which is plenty of time to see the best stuff West Texas has to offer. We spent less than 48 hours in Big Bend National Park during our first visit to this spectacular place. This video reveals the best parts of Big Bend we were fortunate to see. The Chisos Mountains, Santa Elena Canyon, Rio Grande Village, and black bears did not disappoint. Big Bend is the place to go for a wild adventure.

We try to visit Big Bend on a yearly basis, but it’s difficult because we enjoy hiking with our dog. Unfortunately, Big Bend National Park is not very dog friendly. You can drive through the park with your dog, or camp with your dog, but you cannot really do any hiking.
