I was immensely thrilled to have done my first solo flight at Iba, Zambales (RPUI) last 1 December 2019. It’s safe to say this was the highlight of my year! I thank God for everything, including my ground and flight instructors, most especially to my Primary Instructor, Capt. Jasper Dalman, and my Secondary Instructor, Capt. Murphy Legaspi. I also thank Capt. Eric Ortega for releasing me for my first solo.

This would not have happened without the love and support of my family, friends, the management, our seniors and my batchmates (AAG Batch 45). I am forever thankful!

Who would have thought that a short girl like me, who really didn’t know anything about aviation (yes, I took a pre-medical course in college), could fly a Cessna 172! I am grateful for the people who believed in me. At the end of the day, it is not what you shout out to the world that determines your life, it is what you whisper to yourself that has the most power ♡

I still am a student pilot, and I have a loooooong way to go before I can ever reach my dreams in becoming an Airline Pilot. There will be numerous challenges ahead, even more books to read, and a lot of hours of in-flight and on-ground experience. To all the pilots around the world, you are my inspiration!

I was the first soloist of my batch (Batch 45) and the first ever soloist of Alpha Aviation Group/AICAT in Iba, Zambales (RPUI).
