A neat "trick" I created for equirectangular perspective sketching:
-The usual fixed grid method allows you to draw horizontals and verticals going to the 4 cardinal points.
-The "sliding grid" method I show you here allows you to draw any line, given two points. I'll show you how to do it in this video. For why it works check out the paper where I introduced this method:

note: this perspective is also sometimes called curvilinear perspective, 6-point perspective, or spherical perspective. In fact there are many spherical perspectives, and this is the "equirectangular spherical perspective", a specific type of spherical perspective. One of these days we will talks about the other types.
