Standing desks are great for relieving stress on your neck and back while working on a computer. And today I'm taking a look at this dual motor standing desk from Woka. The one I have here comes with a black desktop with matte black legs. But there are other color combinations available. I've been using this for a few days and I can tell you that it feels very sturdy and solidly built. But let's get a closer look at the Woka standing desk so you can see for yourself whether this is a good desk for you!

When it arrives the box is about 80 pounds so you'll probably need a friend to help carry it inside. And it takes about 30 minutes to fully assemble. What I like is that every screw is clearly labelled in the packaging so there's no mistaking which one to use. And each part of the desk is labelled with a number so you can follow along with the instruction manual easily. One person can assemble this desk with no problem. And like I mentioned before, you can have this setup and ready to go in about 30 minutes. Then all you have to do is plug it in. The last step in the manual shows you how to reset the motors before use and then it's all ready to go.

The motors run very smooth as it goes up and down. The motors do make a low whining sound when activated but it's fairly quiet. The desk is heavy and is very stable especially with the long metal feet. And you can stabilize the desk if the floor is uneven to eliminate wobbling. It comes with a cable tray which I've attached on the side. And there's also a hook to hang your headphones. As a side note, the manual says to install the cable tray on the back but then I'd have to drill some of my own holes to install it. Included are some peel and stick cable ties to keep wires out of the way for a cleaner look. And on the desktop there's a cutout to slip cords through the desk.

Here's how to set memory positions for the desk height. Adjust the height to where you want and then press the M button. And then all you have to do is press one of the four memory buttons. Now when I press a preset the desk will automatically move to the new position. You can also use the up and down arrows to manually adjust the height when needed. Ideally you'll want a desk with dual motors like this Woka standing desk. Two motors offer smoother and quieter movement with higher weight capacity. And if you have a lot of stuff, the Woka standing desk can handle up to 220 pounds. It can go from 27.6 up to 47.2 inches high. And if you're tall that maximum height should work for you nicely!

You can also lock the controls to keep children and others from changing your settings. To lock the control panel press and hold the up and down buttons for about 5 seconds. And to unlock it just press the same buttons for another 5 seconds. This is my first standing desk and I can say I really like being able to standup and keep working when my back gets tired from sitting. The desktop surface is 48 by 24 inches and one inch thick.

It's been working great for me so far and I may add more cable management and maybe even a keyboard tray to this in the future. But for now, I'm really enjoying the Woka dual motor standing desk.
