In these videos I explain in very simple language, anatomy and physiology (working) of different organs in human body. I will talk about why that condition happens, diagnosis, investigations, complications, treatment and outcome of that disease.
Epigastric hernias are not uncommon type of hernias. They are not always very easily palpable especially in overweight people as some of them can be very small. Rectus Divarication or Diastasis is again a common condition more common in overweight men and not a true hernia. epigastric hernias causing symptoms will need surgery whereas rectus diastasis hardly ever merits surgical intervention.
