我來自台灣，旅居夏威夷。文化大學國樂系、美國俄亥俄大學理論作曲碩士、美國俄亥俄州立大學民族音樂學博士。從小到大學習過的老師有李坤山、楊斯雄、丁魯峰、蔣明坤、蕭白鏞、黃正銘。畢業後曾於辛辛那提音樂學院任職教授，目前為夏威夷大學推廣教育中心音樂家。演出足跡遍佈十多個國家，小到富豪的私人聚會，大到聯合國或中華民國國宴場合。發表過四張專輯，其中「飛躍海洋」獲得夏威夷葛萊美大獎。除了音樂，我還喜歡潛水、國標，最開心的是大學的時候還參加過太極拳比賽冠軍。

Winner of Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award 2018, Sun Hui, born in Taiwan. She has won numerous major awards, including the prestigious Outstanding Artist Award at the Taiwan National Erhu Competition. After earning a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology from The Ohio State University, she continues to collaborate with a variety contemporary composers & musicians from World, Western-classical, Chinese and other musical backgrounds. She had been invited to perform at various esteemed venues around the world.

She enjoys International Tango and Latin dance, and was a National Taichi Champion of Taiwan in 2004.
