In this Pitch Perfect presentation, Marcel Robillard, President and CEO of Puma Exploration (TSXV: PUMA), introduces viewers to one of Atlantic Canada’s most exciting emerging gold stories. Based in New Brunswick, Puma holds one of the largest land packages in the province and is actively developing a new gold camp with significant high-grade potential.

Puma’s flagship project, the Williams Brook Gold Project, has seen consistent progress since its acquisition in 2020. With gold mineralization found at surface and minimal overburden, Puma has developed a low-cost, efficient exploration model that allows for rapid targeting and drilling. This approach has already delivered multiple high-grade drill results and laid the groundwork for attracting major partners.

A defining milestone for Puma in 2024 was the signing of a $16.75 million option agreement with Kinross Gold. As part of the first-year commitment, Kinross is funding a $2 million exploration program that includes 5,000 metres of drilling at the Williams Brook property. Importantly, Puma remains the operator and receives a management fee, bringing in roughly $150,000 this year while maintaining control over on-the-ground execution.

The exploration focus this summer includes 3,500 metres of initial drilling, with trenching and stripping campaigns covering 95 days across the land package. These programs are expected to generate a steady flow of news and potential new discoveries, with remaining drilling targets—such as Cougar, Jaguar, Lion, and Cheetah zones—to be refined and tested later in the year.

In parallel, Puma is advancing its new McKenzie Gold Project, a high-grade gold system also located at surface. Early work has revealed bonanza-grade veins, including samples up to 600 g/t gold, and Puma plans to replicate the strategy used at Williams Brook. Compilation work is already completed, with trenching and the project’s first drill program scheduled for the fall of 2025.

Puma is not just a traditional explorer. The company has a diversified model designed to generate value beyond drill results. Past initiatives include the spinout of a copper asset into Canadian Copper, in which Puma still owns a 10% equity stake. Similarly, Puma recently sold several projects to Raptor Resources, an Australian company preparing for its ASX listing, from which Puma expects to receive both equity and cash payments.

This hybrid strategy—combining grassroots discovery, major partnerships, and asset monetization—gives Puma multiple ways to deliver shareholder returns. With minimal dilution and operating leverage through Kinross’s funding, the company is well-positioned to unlock value across its portfolio while retaining upside from exploration success.

Financially, Puma is in a strong position. The Kinross agreement covers the costs at Williams Brook, while McKenzie exploration is supported by over $660,000 in dedicated funding. The company’s share structure remains clean, with a ~$13 million market cap and significant insider ownership, including strategic stakes held by Kinross (9.9%) and Sprott-backed Stress Capital (~5%).

As Puma moves through an aggressive 2025 field season, investors can expect regular updates, discovery news, and potential upside re-rating from Kinross’s involvement.
