Hey guys, what’s up? Today I’d like to show you how you can remove an object from your video in Davinci resolve 19. Before doing that, however, I’d like to emphasize that this method only works if you have the paid studio version. It’s not gonna work with the free version of Davinci, unfortunately.
Now, the first step is to go over to your color tab. Then click on window and select the pen tool. After that, draw an area around the object that you would like to remove. Once that’s done, select the tracker tab and click on track forward. This will let Davinci track your object across the entire scene. Go over to your Effects and search for object removal. Drag it onto your node. Click on Scene analysis which is gonna remove the object from every frame of your video. And finally, to get rid of the grey area here, click on “clean slate”.
And that’s how you can easily remove an object in Davinci resolve with just a few clicks.
