ABDK BYF Jubilee Theme Song, 2023 "SOKJOK PLATINUM JUBILEE"

It is now announced that the GBC Youth Ministry will be celebrating its platinum jubilee from December 8th to 10th, 2023. Our joy and gratitude come from the fact that God has been actively at work in the lives and ministries of the Garo Baptist Convention for many years, particularly in the youth ministry. We have not chosen to celebrate because we believe it is a good idea, but rather because we recognise the goodness of God in our lives up to where we are now. On this significant event, we will partake in a joyous celebration, providing us with another opportunity to reflect, rejoice, and renew ourselves.

Let us reflect on the humble beginnings of this ministry, which began in October 1948 with the guidance of Rev. H. M. Randall, an American Baptist missionary, and 300 youth members. Since then, both the scale and scope of the GBC Youth Ministry have grown, and it currently has 51788 male members, 50285 female members, and a total of 102085 members.

This will be a historic event deserving of joy and praise for our all-powerful God. As a result, to mark this milestone, all people, young and old, rich or poor, are welcome to participate in this commemoration.
