Opening "Early morning time. An old building with many doors. One door opens to Anya's bedroom. Outside, chilly weather has frozen cherry orchard."
Lopakhin, Dunyasha and Varya are waiting for Ranevsky, her daughter Anya and Servant Yasha who are coming from Paris after 5 years of self-exile
