I have been using both these mugs for the last month and I have loved both of them. at the end of the day I had to pick one or the other and I went with the fellow Carter. but both mugs are very good and serve slightly different use cases.

more detail on why I dont like the yeti or other stainless steel mugs.
stainless steel to me gives coffee a slightly metallic taste. and the other factor for me is that that they dont offer a great sipping experience generally your putting your moth on plastic or something that just doesn't feel great in my opinion. at the end of the day for me if the coffee is hot but is less enjoyable to sip its kind of a lame experience on my morning commute. also I drive a Tesla model 3 with kind of small cup holders so most double walled travel mugs dont fit.
