Narrated by Dan Aykroyd, follow paleontologists as they explore Canada's prehistoric past to uncover the mystery of what killed the dinosaurs. Two teams are digging for fossils in an effort to understand the mass extinction event that wiped out the dinosaurs 66 million years ago. The McGill University team heads to Grasslands National Park in Saskatchewan to uncover the remains of some of the last dinosaurs, including the Edmontosaurus. In Alberta, the Tier team searches for the first-ever Arrhinoceratops skeleton. As the teams work in extreme conditions, they uncover evidence of dinosaur adaptation to changing environments and climate. The search leads to exciting discoveries, including bird-like dinosaur bones and plant fossils that show how the world was shifting before the asteroid impact.
