The WLAC- the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship, was held June 14 and 15 at the Oklahoma National Stockyards in Oklahoma City. Thirty semifinalists from the US and Canada competed and Wade Leist was selected as the 2024 World Champion.
This video clip is Leist selling in the World Finals on Saturday afternoon at the Oklahoma National Stockyards, where 10,000 cattle consigned by cattle producers from the region were sold as the auctioneers were judged on their skills and presentation. Each of the ten finalists easily sold more than a million dollars of cattle in the twenty drafts they auctioned off to the high bidder.
