Clumber Park CAMC

Описание к видео Clumber Park CAMC

Welcome to another video…..

We are at CAMC site Clumber Park, near Worksop.

Lime Tree Avenue, Clumber Park, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, S80 3AE

This is one of our favourite sites, it’s brilliant if you have bikes or dogs or just enjoy a good walk…..

The site has just undergone a refurb which sees new toilet blocks, a number of service pitches and some premium pitches - these have privacy hedges (not yet grown) and a paved area for BBQs.

The site is situated just off the A1, there’s lovely tree lined trees roads as you enter the Clumber estate and work your way down to the site, this site is more than suitable for a tag axle van.

There is no phone signal on site, internet is via the sites Wi-Fi, TV signal is via a cable into the electric bollards, however this can be intermittent.

If you are planning to go to the lake and the national trust area we recommend you walk down, this allows free entry, there are several routes down, via the road or the woodland. There are cafes, the shop, library and toilets by the lake. Central Bark is the dog cafe. Full details can be found on the national trust website.

There are pizza and fish & chip vans which attend the site on set days. The pizza van gets booked up very quickly so order early.

It’s a very busy site so gets booked up quickly, it’s also quite a large site, it’s certainly busy with families, this will be due to the lake and activities there. There is quite a big children’s play area.

Welcome to our channel - we are new to any social media other than Facebook, so please bear with us whilst we learn the ropes :) we are not yet confident to be on camera…..

We have a Swift Kon-tiki 679 low line which we love going away in and exploring new places.

We wanted to share our adventures with you, including the campsites, pub stop overs, aires and wild camping spots we have visited, especially those with a tag axle, as we know not all sites are for us :(

Check out our Facebook, YouTube and TikTok pages “Kontiki Tours”

What do we use to make our videos….. the trusty iPhone 12 takes that majority of our photos and videos, then we have a DJI mini 2 drone….. we welcome any feedback on which are the best apps to use to edit our footage to make the videos better for you.

I hope you enjoy our videos and seeing these new places as much as we do

Happy holidays :)
