The Experiment is a reflection on a2p which stands for artist-to-peer. It was a 2019 project curated by Casey Reas, Rick Silva, Addie Wagenknecht, and exonemo in which artists were asked to create an artwork and swap with each other over the course of a week. The artists traded NFTs (non-fungible tokens), though the language and discourse around this technology was not yet mainstream. The model and spirit of a2p served as the foundation of Feral File.

Feral File 1.0 is the celebration of all 33 exhibitions hosted by Feral File in its first two years. The exhibition, curated by Casey Reas, features 1 artwork from each of the exhibitions and encompasses the breadth and depth of artists and artworks featured in the gallery.
