Dulha Dulhan is a romantic film. Starring Raj Kapoor (Raj Kumar), Sadhana (Chanda / Rekha) Agha (Bansi). Raj Kumar & Bansi are friends & stays together in one room in a chawl. Raj friend sends letter & in tht letter he requests Raj to pick up his loss daughter her name is Rekha. Bansi tells Raj not to bring Rekha here because he love his character. Raj tells him that he will keep her in a good hotel. Raj goes to station to pick her up but she acts as if she doesn't know where is she. She goes with Raj to a hotel where he keeps her but she follows him in another taxi. She tells Raj that sh got scared to stay there alone so she will stay with him. Raj feels pity on her & takes her to room. Bansi comes in anoring & raj hudes her from but Bansi comes to know. Raj tells him what had happen even he felt bad & gives the permission to stay. Her behaviour sometimes makes them critate so they make plan, they tru to leave her but she comes back. She tells Raj that she loves him & she trusts only him. Neighbours started talking about them. Bansi gets irritated & leaves the house. Seeing this she feels sad & try to suicide but Raj saves her & gets married to her. After some days Diwali comes & she goes out to bring gift for Raj. Bansi suggest Suit. When she came out from the shop one old man started shouting at her, she gets scared & started running & meets with an accident. That old man is her father. Jagirdar of Jaipur & she is his daughter Chanda. When she came to her senses she forget Raj & her marriage, she had ran away from the house because her father was forcing her for marriage. Her father got her after 3 months & he hides from her. Raj gets depressed but one day Bansi shows Chanda's Raj tried to convince her but no good results. Chanda faints, she is pregnant. Chanda & her dada goes to Mumbai to see Raj but when they went the room was empty, Chanda decided to stay here & she gives birth to a baby boy. It was Diwali when they became apart & it is Diwali when they came together.
