Can You Eat A Lotus?

The importance of the lotus plant to Vietnamese culture cannot be overstated. The flower symbolizes so much to the country and the usefulness of all of its parts makes it something truly special. My great friend Dung from ‪@jackfruitadventure‬ took me around to 2 of his favorite stops on the "Escape to the Hidden Island: City to Serene Countryside" Bicycle tour in Saigon, Vietnam. It was incredible to have a Lotus Farm and Coconut Farm right in the middle of the amazingly busy and dense Saigon. There is this huge "countryside" right in the city, definitely a very unique spot and such a special opportunity for me to pick and learn about Lotus.
