LinkedIn 101 for Real Estate Agents |

Are you just getting started with LinkedIn or need a refresher? In this quick video I share five easy ways to jump-start your LinkedIn if you are a real estate agent!

Tip #1: Don’t be a secret agent. Update your contact info and headshot! Make it easy for clients and prospects to find you. Update your email, website and phone number too.

Tip #2: Connect with colleagues, prospects and clients. LinkedIn is the ultimate networking party! This is the time to connect with past and current clients and colleagues. Don’t be afraid to connect with other agents too!

Tip #3: Clean out your inbox. If you haven’t visited your LinkedIn account in some time – it’s time to clean up your inbox and delete the spam!

Tip #4: Post relevant content. LinkedIn is all about business so share a few times a week in the News Feed articles about the market, your own blog or video content, or other relevant real estate news.

Tip #5: Engage with others. Just like anywhere else on social media you have to take time to engage with others – make time weekly to do this!
