As stated by the producer, the theme of the song, thus being our belief of a part of the meaning of life, is 'initial impulse'. START reflects upon the rush of desire that one can feel at the beginning of something new. The song itself speaks of it in terms of starting a dream that the protagonist wants to achieve, highlighting the emotions that they felt in the process of beginning said dream.

In life, we will be faced with new experiences that may be something to be scared of. However, they may be laid in the path of where we want to go. Delving underneath the fear, one may find the special 'impulse' which would be their reasoning for venturing forward, to continue onto their dream! Who knows? Like within the song, a person faced with something fresh may be swept away by the overwhelming feeling of the 'initial impulse', that is offered in every new venture in life that we take.
