First we need to do absolutely the same thing – we need to edge the details with the interfacing material.
The interfacing material should be cut on the grain. It shouldn’t stretch.
This time we are going to show you how to make the slit stronger with the detail cut of the main fabric.
This technique is very useful! It can be used when you can’t find a grosgrain ribbon of the needed color.

I recommend you tacking the seam for ironing. We need to be accurate.
