Welcome everyone to 7 Minutes or Less talking about the shows you love and wanna get into. Today we will be talking about 24 Season 9: Live Another Day!

Beginning of every review I talk about the show in non spoiler fashion. There afterwards I get into spoilers. Usually, a lot of my reviews in later seasons will have this structure.

Below is my rating system for each season (just beyond the plot).

4 years after the events of season 8 (also 4 years since the last season) Jack has disappeared. Now, suddenly seemingly out of nowhere he has resurfaced in London. With intentions unknown Jack is captured and brought into the CIA where a forced to retire Kate Morgan deduces that Jack wouldn’t be so reckless. The reality is Jack has to racee against the clock to convince everyone there is an immanent threat which involves drones controlled by the terrorist Margot Al-Harazi. The people he needs to convince are very personal to Jack as Chloe O’Brian reprises along with a President James Heller and Audrey Raines after their near 10 year absence in 24 lore which is a 2 season absence for us.

I said in my previous season review that I would come up with a rating system going forward. Saying I recommend each season didn’t work when I started out so I felt maybe just keep it simple. Grade letters.

When I reveal my grade letters for each season please keep in mind they may not reflect your own or even what every critic based letter or percentage may have. So don’t come after me! Here it is:

One thing about giving any show an extreme rating of either an A+ or an F really had to have a cause. It’s gotta really have something in it for me to love or absolutely hate. By my own standards and what I expect out of said show. So that means…I don’t give out A+’s freely anymore than F’s. You’ll see Season 5 and 7 were granted that high grade. That isn’t hubris. The show reached its height critically and receptively during its 5th season and in my opinion it lived up to the hype. Season 7 however worked for me on so many levels that not many share. It’s one of my favorite seasons based off my personal preferences. So if you’d like tell me what you’d give each season and tell me why you gave them the grades that you did, I’d love to know!
