Hi, I'm Daniel with etrailer and today we're gonna take a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install these Thomas Payne Right Arm RV recliners. They do have LED lights. It's gonna be 27 and a half inches long, and the color is bogey putty and this is gonna be in our 2023 Keystone Arcadia. This product here is only gonna be for the right arm side of the recliner and you will need both sides to fit together and we'll show you how both of these will fit together in the video. But it's nice for these to be split up in case you need to replace one if one gets damaged and it makes it a lot easier to bring in and out of your RV when they're split up like this. Our neighbor today came in and he already had a couch in this location.
It was a Thomas Payne, but it had a pullout bed style. Now it's just him and his wife. So he had no need for a bed here, so he just opted to get a reclining style so he can kick back after a long day on the road. These recliners don't need electricity to function. There's actually just a pull lever right here and you can kick back like that.
Now the thing that does require electricity, of course, is gonna be your accent lighting, the LEDs on the bottom and the LEDs in the cup here, and you can tap to activate this either on the side or in the cup itself. It is a little bit finicky to do the cup itself. I've actually found the side works a little bit better and if you take the cup out, you can do it that way as well. Now let's get into the big question of how these feel. I know when buying things online, it's always hard to pick, make the right choice because you can't feel 'em in person and a couch is a big deal.
So I can tell you that these are really comfy. When I first sat in these, I didn't wanna get up and get back to work. So these are really comfy and I would recommend them. They're a lot more comfy than those pullout bed styles. Now, as far as the color goes, this matches really well with our neighbor's trailer today.
He's got a lot of beiges on his trim options. Now the kitchen, it's a little bit black and white. It's more modern, so this couch might not fit with a more modern fifth wheel. It just depends on what it looks like inside. But we have a ton of different colors you can check out. So definitely want to get a correct color for a big investment like this. As far as setting these up, it's pretty straightforward. These come in two halves, so they'll just slide in together and you'll bring each half in individually. So you probably need to grab a second person. And when I got Evan to help me out, we actually picked it up and we we inchesre very surprised how light they were. You know, we're used to, if you're ever moved in, to a house, then you may know that those couches are very heavy, but these are designed to be light so they can fit in your fifth wheel. Now these are designed to fit through doors that are 26 inches wide, but from flange to flange on our door, it was about 24 inches and we got it to fit. We did have to squish some of the cushions to get it to fit. So I would be mindful of that when you are putting it into a narrower door. Now, if you're planning on upgrading your loveseat or getting a new one or upgrading some of the other appliances in your camper, you can check out our dealer locator. We can find a professional in your area to get everything you want installed. Now, putting this in, it's pretty simple. You just wanna grab another person, you can do it yourself. But if you're ready to see how we got it in, we'll go ahead and show you how we got the old one out and the new one in. Now I'm gonna grab somebody and help me get this moved outta here. It's a good idea to grab a tape measure, get your door opening, and make sure that this can fit out. And you may need to unscrew your legs, depending on how tight it is. And it's always a good idea just to kind of remove all the cushions here. This recliner is split in half to make it a little easier to move in. So we're gonna go ahead and start by bringing in the right side inside. Now we can get these in place and clasped together. Before we get these put together, it's a good idea to run your extension line to 'em, 'cause there's a plug on the bac
