Baycan Elektrik presented the wire harness and cable solutions for aviation, defense and automotive sectors during the EDEX 2025 defense exhibition in New Cairo, Egypt. Speaking to Defensehere.com, Esen Kılıç, Board Member of Baycan Elektrik, emphasized the company's strong partnerships with domestic and foreign organizations.

Founded in 1967 by Erdoğan Kılıç, the company started as a small workshop in Istanbul employing 20 people. In 1987, the facilities were moved to Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone to a facility spanning 7500 square meters where it continues to operate today. Baycan Elektrik A.Ş. produces for 10+ domestic and foreign brands and employs nearly 1000 people.

Esen Kılıç emphasized the importance of wire harnesses in the defense industry, stating "Our wire harnesses can be found in different UAV solutions, including unmanned air vehicles as well as different land vehicles". The company also has working partnerships with the group of companies known as the "top five", and having proven themselves on the domestic stage, they seek to establish strong partnerships through foreign export lines.
