📍 Location: Bukit Lawang, Bohorok, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra.

We stayed with Sumatran Ethical Expeditions in Sampe Raya, a village right next to Bukit Lawang. The rooms were comfortable with views over the local paddy fields, and they provided a fantastic guide for our jungle trek to see the Orangutans. 🐒
