Another trip to the Lake District and another 4 new Wainwright summits ticked off.

If you are after a long day out in the fells, then this is the one for you - 17.5 miles from start to finish in 8 hours 40 minutes - knackered and a little bit sunburnt but so worth it.

Started off from Hartsop and made my way up towards The Knott and then over to Rampsgill Head and High Raise, for the views that were missing when I did them in near whiteout conditions in January. Then followed the path over to Red Crag and then onto the 4 new summits below.

Views over Ullswater are stunning.

Bonscale Fell 524m ✅️
Arthur's Pike 533m ✅️

Obvious paths from start to finish, majority of them grass, which was nice underfoot. Only real steep ascent/descent is up towards The Knott, once you've broken the back of that it's fairly easy going.

116/214 Wainwrights completed now - finally down to double digits left to do
