Will This 1989 Dodge W100 4x4 Shorty Run Again?

This once-loved 1989 Dodge W100 was the gem in a feller’s eye… until time got away from him and he couldn’t finish fixing it.

He sold it to his neighbor as a project for his kid, but instead of getting wrenched on, it just got pushed from spot to spot and forgotten about.

Fast forward to one faithful day—I’m sitting on the porcelain god, scrolling Facebook Marketplace, when I see her. Short. Sad. Abandoned. I knew right then I had to go get her.

Not gonna lie… buyers remorse kicked in pretty quick. I already have way too many projects. So I threw her back up on Marketplace, but nobody else saw the sparkle I did. Just months of “is this still available?”, online mechanics, and Marketplace know-it-alls.

After about 7 months of that nonsense, I got fed up and decided to spend a weekend giving her the ol’ used car lot flipper special.

So if you’re into backyard, low-budget fixes, questionable decisions, and easy DIY cleanups—this one’s for you.

It’s basically like slapping makeup on… but hey, sometimes that’s all it takes 😎
