This abstract tutorial will show you how to create layers of translucent paint to create depth and movement. With some practice you will become a pro at creating your own abstract styles!

Don't worry about making your piece perfect, or even thinking "I can't do this". Art is a process. DO NOT compare your work to mine or anyone else's. You are a creative genius and your work is special to you so have fun!

If you are learning how to paint, or would like to learn abstract painting, I encourage you to try to recreate this painting step my step. Once you copied the piece (more or less), you'll have a better understanding of how to manipulate the tools and a baseline understanding of how to go about the composition.

My art has helped me express things that I could not with words, and have taught me things about myself beyond my imagination. I hope this video inspires you to try something new and to keep exploring the wonderful world of color. Keep practicing, keep trying and never give up!
