Today I am sharing this video I shoot at Discovery Lake, San Marcos, CA which is an excellent place if you are looking to relaxing with natural sounds of nature or take a walk and embrace the wind from the lake.

It's a great place for joggers, bicyclists, strollers, wheelchairs, pets and families. Fishing is allowed only from shorelines or the dock, but the city recommends catch and release fishing with barbless hooks, and a fishing license is required for all individuals over the age of 16 years. I also would recommend taking a walk/hike around the 0.8-mile loop trail for those who want to do a light stroll but still see a diversity of species and beautiful lake scenery. The lake also has various trails to extend your hike.

Difficulty: Easy, with less than 50 feet elevation loss/gain. Facilities in Lakeview Park.
