In an ever changing world, cyberbullying has become more dangerous than ever. Through her own personal experience of cyberbullying before, during, and after the Olympics, Yi Zhu shares her story of why people like illusions from a psychological standpoint. She emphasizes the power of human cognition, and encourages our community to use such power to lift others up rather than bring them down. A Chinese ladies' singles figure skater who was born in Los Angeles, United States. In 2018, she won the U.S. national novice title and was recruited by the Chinese National Team. She represented China in the 2022 Beiing Winter Olympics. Currently, she is a freshman at the School of Psychology and Cognitive Science of Peking University. She's striving to balance her studies and training, whilst becoming the best version of herself. She also encourages the future generation through major social media platforms: Weibo and Douyin.
