Instant Rava/ Sooji/Suji Uttapam Recipe - Everybody loves an uttapam, especially when it is hot & freshly made in minutes. Traditional Uttapam or Ootappa recipe uses fermented rice & lentil batter but my recipe here is an Instant Rava Uttapam made with Rava (suji/sooji) & curd. It is easy to prepare and can be served with a variety of South Indian chutney.

Ingredients
FOR BATTER
1 cup Rava/Suji (semolina)
1/2 cup Curd
to taste Salt
2 tbsp Ginger chopped
2 tbsp Curry leaves chopped
2 tsp Green chilli chopped
1 cup Water
as required Oil
FOR TOPPING
1 tbsp Onion chopped
1 tbsp Tomato chopped
1 tbsp Coriander chopped
1 tbsp Capsicum chopped
a pinch Salt
a dash Oil
