When the pandemic happened, it happened for all of us.

I kinda saw it as an opportunity for more eyes on my artwork. I spent 2020 creating a fabulous collection of artwork and had the vision of having it seen virtually by a global audience.

Well it’s now 2021 and time to be courageous and put forth my vision to the world. I’m learning a new thing in creating this 3D virtual show and thought- why don’t I share what I learn and that’s why i’m sharing my journey.

It’s gonna be unscripted because I don’t like what it looks like as I’m reading my notes. Lol.

Today’s tip #2 is Your Vision for your show.
How many pieces would you like in your collection?
Do you have common sizes and shapes of canvas?
How do you choose what not to show?
Do you have more pieces that you want to create to fulfill your vision?
Come up with a description for your show and what it is about
Set a date for the show… consider holidays and when the work will be completed
What kind of release party or event? Zoom party?

Leading up to my 3D virtual art show, Sails, Souls and Sparkles curated by @jenniferPazienza, I’ll be sharing some behind the scenes tips of what it takes to put together a show like this. Since it is 3 weeks away and I have 6 tips, I’ll be posting 2 a week.

These tips are for those artists out there thinking of doing a solo show in this time of lockdown. Virtual 3D art shows are a fantastic way to get eyes on your art especially when so many more people are online these days.
