Arcade Game: New Rally X (See Description Below)

First video of an arcade game! There are many types of arcade games. My favorite maze game is New Rally X. I played this game a lot of times and I still know how to play it.


New Rally X is a maze chasing game released by Namco in 1981. It involves race cars and check points (flags) as well as rocks. Your goal in the game is to collect all the check points before you run out of fuel and before the enemy cars ram into you. When you run out of fuel, your car will simply slow down and you have no other choice but to let the enemy cars crash into you. You also want to avoid the rocks in the game. The rocks are set in certain areas and they will also take you down. You do have smoke screen that you can use in the game. When you use it, the enemy cars will spin out of control for a while when they run into them. It will come in handy but it uses some of your fuel a bit fast, so you will have to use it sparingly. There are challenging stages. In these stages you have to collect all the check points as usual. However, you must be quick enough before the enemy cars get to you after your fuel is out. In other words, if you fail to collect all the check points and your fuel is completely out in the challenging stages, the enemy cars will start chasing and crash into you. However, you can still keep progressing through the stages. The game ends when you lose all four of your cars from getting rammed by the enemy cars. You receive a bonus car when you hit to 20000 Points.
