5-Year Integrated M.Sc. Program (B.Sc. Honors and M.Sc. Dual Degree)

The Entrance test for admission to the 5-Year Integrated M.Sc. program in hasic sciences Physics. Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at the Center for Basic Sciences (CBS). PL. Ravishankar Shukla University. Raipur, Chhattisgarh, will be conducted by Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur in online mode. The successful candidates will be called for counseling and admission will be strictly according to the merit list. The candidates admitted to 5 year Integrated M.Sc. program (40 through EST and 20 through NEST) are eligible for a scholarship of Rs. 5000/- per month. Educational qualifications: Candidates seeking admission to Center for Basic Sciences for the academic session 2021-22 should be from science stream (having any combination of Biology/Chemistry/Mathematics/Physics) at class XII. Candidates who have passed class XII examination or equivalent from any recognized Board in India or are appearing in, 2021 can appear in the entrance examination. Candidates securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in class 12h examination will be eligible for admission to CBS. For candidates belonging to scheduled cast (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) categories, the minimum requirement of marks is 55%

in aggregate.

Age limit: Unreserved category candidates born on or after July 01, 2001 are eligible to apply. The age limit is

relaxed by 2 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates. No. of seats & reservation: for academic session 2021-22, the total

no. of seats eligible for scholarship at CBS is 60 (40 through EST and 20 through NEST). The no of seats

reserved for SC, ST & OBC (Non-Creamy-Layer) in EST is according to the Government of Chhattisgarh norms.

Syllabus: The syllabus for entrance test primarily follows the NCERT/CBSE/CG Board science syllabus of class XI-XII. Refer Information Bulletin for detailed syllabus. Language of the question paper will be

English &

Hindi.
