Abandoned Lackawanna RR structures and track in PA-November 7, 1996

Описание к видео Abandoned Lackawanna RR structures and track in PA-November 7, 1996

This was literally my first experience using a camcorder so please forgive my goofy and often wrong narration, I was only 21 years old at the time and excited to make my own series of abandoned railroad home videos. I strongly considered omitting the audio altogether on this video but my wife talked me into keeping it. I am a huge fan of tracing abandoned railroads so there isn't much train action. In this video I explore the station and tower at Alford and Kingsley, PA, the station at Hop Bottom, PA, and a piece of abandoned track that ran from old line junction down to the original main at Hop Bottom, which was tore out around 1982. The video ends with a Northbound train at CPF 650 in Hop Bottom. The three stations that I explored are now all gone, but as far as I know in 2024, the towers at Alford and Kingsley are still there.
