When Epcot Center opened on October 1, 1982, the Land Pavilion was a prominent place for Kraft Foods.

It was a Farmers Market of food stands featuring various types of things to eat, and a wonderful big carved farm clock with a rooster which would turn and crow every 15 minutes, to the pleasure of everyone under the great high ceiling!

The Harvest Theater had a movie on Symbiosis, (man's relationship with the land), Listen to the Land boat ride had a Live Presenter on each 2 boat unit traveling the waterways, and there was the Kitchen Kaberet animatronic show...!

The Harvest Theater is no more, live narration presenters on the boats are gone, Kraft and the farmers market is gone, and so is the Kitchen Kaberet GONE.

Where the Kitchen Kaberet once was, the building was extended way back to create Soarin', which is nice, but not to destroy the Kitchen Kaberet.

As I walk to the entrance of Soarin', I know what was once there, and I see the scores of people passing in and out, who have absolutely no clue to what that area they are walking through once was.

While i am so blessed with the knowledge I hold, I can see how ignorance is bliss, and those who know no better, don't give the slightest thought to the memories of what once was, because they have no such memories at all ...
