MYSTERIOUS ISLAND in TAWI TAWI - Philippines Crocodile Infested Lake! (Dangerous?)

THIS COULD BE ONE OF THE MOST MYSTERIOUS ISLANDS IN TAWI-TAWI AND THE PHILIPPINES!

Mapun is home to different lakes, all of which have their own unique mystery, beauty, and potentially danger to them! In this video, we explore two of them! One is a crocodile infested lake... which of course we don't get to near too. The murky greenery certainly hides the crocodiles well. It would be dangerous to swim, as one person was killed many years ago. But, the second lake... it was all good (at least according to our local friends). The mysterious turquoise green and little fish that would bite your feet... it made for one unique swimming experience! Moreover, the powerful limestone cliffs that open up to the third lake (which we shall explore in the future) are just beyond beautiful!

Mapun really is a majestic island... one that is home to an amazing community of people. Aside from our lake exploration, in this video, we also welcome the Philippine Air Force, who happened to have a special visit while we were on the island. Our friend happens to be an air force reserve.
