2xko's releasing an open beta soon? And it's gonna come with a new character?! That's awesome! Let's take a look at the new character... oh... umm... well...

... kay, let me just put that on pause... and... hi, hi, it's Bridget! What was I doing, you ask? Well, for starters, I've just gotta tell you in case you don't already know, but 2xko's getting an open beta release soon! That means a whole lot of us will get to try it out, and hopefully we'll all have a whole bunch of friends to play the game with! And guess what's coming with the open beta? A new character! I mean, it's always great to have bigger character rosters in fighting games, right?

So I think a lot of you League players know who Teemo is, and I'm pretty sure you've seen how he plays in the 2xko trailers. Would you say that he stays true to his fighting style? Anyway, I know he's cute and goofy and all... but as a fighting gamer, I can say for sure that he's gonna be a really annoying character to deal with! He's your typical trap-type set-play projectile zoner, right? His tools and tricks seem to draw inspiration from a whole list of set-play characters: Miss Jack-o, Miss Hisui, Mister Arakune... but there's one character in particular that Teemo resembles a lot... and this character's a real war crime, let me tell you that! Do you know who I'm talking about? Watch this video to find out!

Well, it looks like 2xko's shaping up to be a pretty anime-style fighting game! You've got the tag team mechanics, the long-ish combos, the colourful character archetypes... I know this is probably gonna scare lots of people away, because they're scared to experience the pain of getting bullied by the pros abusing knowledge checks... but you know what? Bring back the anime fighters, I say! Sure, it'll be tough learning all the system mechanics, and even tougher keeping up with all the stuff that's happening on the screen... but if you can pick up some of the basics, and find someone at your skill level, I can guarantee that you'll have a ton of silly fun!
