Often when people think about fashion, it is seen as more of this superficial, vanity-oriented topic, interest, or even profession but I think that is a very limited glimpse into what fashion really is. And the same is often thought about historical fashion, that it is just this fun, aesthetic-oriented hobby, unfortunately deemed unnecessary by some, when in reality historical fashion and fashion in general mean so much more to so many people. Not to mention the fact it can give us profoundly deep insights into various societies and cultural practices.
