On Sept. 16, people from all over the world gathered at St. Andrew Apostle Parish in Silver Spring for a Mass celebrated by Cardinal Donald Wuerl. The Mass, hosted by World Villages for Children and the Sisters of Mary, commemorated the 25th anniversary of Venerable Aloysius Schwartz’s death, the 60th anniversary of his ordination, and what would have been his 87th birthday.
