For most of the 1990s the 40RS, made in Denmark at the Dronningborg plant, was the largest combine offered by Massey Ferguson and it developed a good reputation. This very tidy and relatively early example was cutting oilseed rape back in 2009, fitted with a Matrot side knife. It features on the Combine Harvesters Part 2 DVD.
