I'm hiking the Ulster Way, a 636 mile trail around Northern Ireland and the International Appalachian Trail, a 279 mile trail crossing the north of Ireland! Join me on my adventure!

Day 49 - we hiked from Benedy to Moneyneany through the Central Sperrins

We started our hike at Benedy Community Association and began the climb around Corrick Mountain to reach Glenshane Forest. From here we climbed through the forest to the mass rock and over the boggy Craig-na-Shock before descending past Eagle Rock and through Moydamlaght Forest following the Eagle Rock Trail and Hudy's Way trail. We finished today's hike in the lovely town of Moneyneany.
