Some serious action at the EG Simmons Regional Park! I took my wife and boys to Tampa to throw the Net & we got treated to a mixed bag of fish. The Sheepshead were off the end of the cement breakwaters and Sharks roamed that area in the surf. The Fishing Pier was packed with HUGE mullet and Manatees were quietly laying in the deep below the drop off.
While my nets are ripped, my Spirit is High because everything worked out great on this trip! I was able to get my arm out of the hand line and was ready for a serious tug of war with the manatee, but my net gave out before we really got into it (Thank God)
I Accidentally threw my cast net on multiple Manatees that were laying under the waters surface. They took off and a huge hole in my net.
Good thing I didn't throw my Handmade braided net in that deep water or that would have played out different (Handmade net is made 100% from 80lbs line)
Cast Net Sniper Lives to fish another day!
